Listing Support
Purpose
- This SOP will guide the Listing Support department to identify, report and work in conjunction with the Legal Department for KYC issues.
Scope
- KYC means "Know your customer", generally this process happens when Amazon requests identity or bank docs in order to assure the account is used by the corresponding owner and not a third party.
This process applies to the following accounts as far as we have been updated:

Identification and Reporting
- You will receive an amount of KYC ticket in your assigned tickets.
- Once in the ticket, click the gatekeeper link it will be in the comment or access manually the account on gatekeeper. (You need to check the UK and German marketplaces)
or - Go to Performance Notifications and check any related to KYC this might include the following subjects: [Action Required] Information needed for your Selling on Amazon payment account.
- If you don't find any new notification, use the macro “Autoclose No KYC notification has been found” which will auto close the ticket.
- If you do find a KYC related notification you need to start gathering identity information to update the task.
- Identity Information.
- Open a seller central new tab.
- Go to Settings - Account Info
- Under business information click on Identity Information. Note: It might take some minutes for it to load. Try to refresh the page.
- The information will be displayed, make sure you screenshot the info as you will need to upload it to the zendesk task.
- If you don't find any new notification, use the macro “Autoclose No KYC notification has been found” which will auto close the ticket.
- Go back to the Zendesk Ticket and use the Macro template called “Create child ticket”, this will auto close the current task and create a new Child ticket where you can add all the above information.
Once you create the new child ticket, contact the POC Jose Granados Contreras and assign him the new ticket for review.
